The Gunners' 10-game victorious streak was ended by Sunderland prior to the global hiatus, however will the Premier League frontrunners bounce back against local foes Tottenham this Sunday?
"{I believe like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs manager Thomas Frank will have a plan for this game," remarked soccer expert Chris Sutton.
"Frank will try to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling best this season - but Mikel Arteta's side usually still find a way to win."
The analyst is making predictions for all 380 Premier League fixtures this term, against AI, fans and a range of special visitors.
For week 12, he faces singer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United supporter.
The singer's latest record, the new release, is available on the weekend.
Murs is a talented footballer as well as a successful singer and has been a featured player of several charity football matches over time - but he is not planning a professional return as a footballer.
"{I actually played in a charity game the other evening for a friend of mine," he said. "My team was trailing 3-1 when I came off in the 60th minute, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you want!
"I still love football, but I injured my knee a few years ago and it still hasn't fully recovered. I wish I could play more but the unpredictability of the sport means it's too dangerous for me in my profession to do it properly again.
"Additionally I am 41 now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am gearing up for the time that my daughter or son chooses to play instead."
Murs and his wife Amelia Tank have a young family, Madison and their son, and he is ready to emulate his dad by taking on the role of their manager.
"I will not push football on our kids but I've already told my wife that if they happen to get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will likely be managing their Saturday soccer team," he said.
"I observed my relatives play a lot, and I really got into it, and I obviously was involved with a football club for a period too.
"My father did it with us when I was a child, which is probably where I get it from. He coached our team for several seasons and had great fun with it. That could be the future for me as well, and I am excited to it!"
Chelsea may have to be patient for Cole Palmer's return from injury but their attack is already stronger with Pedro and Liam Delap both back fit.
I still think this fixture will be fairly close, however. Burnley are disciplined and their only at Turf Moor losses so far have been against the Reds and Arsenal.
It smells of a 1-1 draw to me, but I am in fact going to go with the London side to edge it for what would be their third consecutive league win in a row.
Sutton's prediction: 1-2
The singer's prediction: Chelsea will be too strong. 1-3
Artificial intelligence's outlook: 0-2
The Cherries have lost their past two matches - albeit both of them were on the road - but they got absolutely spanked by Villa last time out which shocked me.
On the other hand, the Hammers secured back-to-back victories before the international break and, although both of those fixtures were at home, they do look strong again.
West Ham's sole away victory this campaign came at Forest in August, when their manager Nuno Espirito Santo was still Forest manager.
Therefore, what exactly do I go with here - can the Hammers extending their streak under Nuno, or the home side responding?
I will choose Bournemouth, because I think what happened against Aston Villa was a anomaly.
Sutton's forecast: 2-0
Olly's outlook: Bournemouth are doing well but West Ham have improved under their boss. 2-2
AI's pick: 1-1
Brentford were considered one of the frontrunners for the drop before the campaign started, but they have surprised a few observers under Keith Andrews and are in good form with three wins in their past four matches.
My son told me to select Brentford forward Thiago in my Fantasy Football squad a few weeks ago and, unfortunately, I ignored the advice.
Thiago will probably find the net again on the weekend but I am still not going to pick him or back the away side at Amex Stadium.
They have not had great fortune on the road this season, and Brighton are consistently strong at home. The visitors will attempt to attack on the break but I think Fabian Hurzeler's side pose much more of a danger.
Sutton's prediction: 2-1
The singer's view: It could be a match where you think there is going to be a many scores but it in reality proves to be quite close. 1-1
The computer's outcome: 2-1
It is a massive game for Fulham, who have suffered defeat in five of their past six matches.
Fulham have got plenty of talent in their squad but it nonetheless seems like they could be sucked into a drop zone fight.
As for the Black Cats, indeed they are the surprise package of the Premier League campaign so far.
Their display in the 2-2 draw with the Gunners last time out was superb. We have not witnessed anyone else rough up the Gunners like that this term, and Sunderland were fully competitive for them.
The sensible thing to do to back the Black Cats here, because they are obviously able of disrupting the hosts up too and, the last time they were in this part of London, they beat the Blues at the end of October.
But I am not do that. Rather, I truly need to continue going against the away team with my forecasts. I am claiming a lot of credit for their positive outcomes because they clearly love to prove me wrong.
Considering the home side's home record, the only side they have been defeated by is Arsenal. Their manager's side will be extremely desperate for a positive outcome, so I am going to say they will pick up three points.
Sutton's prediction: 1-0
Olly's prediction: I know Sunderland are performing strongly and also that Fulham are on a poor run... but Fulham have still been respectable at home this campaign. 2-0
The algorithm's outlook: 2-0
It is a tough fixture to call. Liverpool have suffered seven of their past 10 matches in every tournament, but might they be among the sides who benefit from the {international break|
